Home-Delivered Hot Meals from Office for Senior Resources: A hot, nutritious meal is delivered directly to the homes of sick or homebound elderly. A physician’s referral and home assessment is required. Call 845-808-1700 to learn more.

Wellness in Nutrition (WIN) Delivers frozen meals to the homes of eligible seniors. Meals are provided for up to 7 days per week depending on individual circumstances. An assessment is required. Call 845-808-1700 to learn more.

MyBenefits.Gov - New York State residents can visit this website to find out if they are eligible for help through SNAP (formerly Food Stamps), Nutrition Education, Temporary Assistance, HEAP, WIC, School Meals, and Summer Meal Programs.

NOEP (the Nutrition Outreach and Education Program) offers one-on-one help applying for SNAP. They can tell you if you may be eligible, help you gather the documents you need, and help you with your SNAP application. The service is free and confidential. You'll also find information on when fruits and vegetables are in season at your market and recipes to use with produce you buy.
