4-H Educator – FT / Brewster, NY

Are you energetic, positive and enjoy working with youth? The goals of 4-H is to develop citizenship, leadership, responsibility and life skills of youth through experiential learning programs and a positive youth development approach. 4-H focuses on citizenship, healthy living, science, engineering, and technology programs. Our motto at 4-H is "To make the best better", while our slogan is "Learn by doing".

This position will serve as the 4-H Educator for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Putnam County and will provide comprehensive 4-H Youth Development opportunities for youth in a variety of settings using established 4-H curriculum and activities in the areas of agriculture and animal science; environmental science and natural resources; science, technology engineering, and math (STEM); healthy lifestyles and food systems; as well as a variety of other 4-H related topics. This position will work closely with the Executive Director, as well as Association program staff to deliver a highly effective 4-H Program which addresses the needs of local youth while employing the most current educational resources available. This position will also assist in the development of 4-H educational programs and provide oversight to 4-H volunteers.
