Putnam County 4-H Legacy Project: An Intergenerational, Virtual Service-Learning Project offered through the Cornell Institute for Translational Research on Aging
This intergenerational community service project is open to all interested Putnam County Middle & High School students in Grades 7-12 will include an interactive 3-week communication and interview skills workshop series led by 4-H Youth & Family Program Director, Dena L. Altavilla
Communication Workshop Dates: Thursdays ~ 7:00-8:30pm
Upon completion of the (3) Zoom Workshops, participating teens will be matched with a senior in the Putnam community and will complete a one-hour interview with them (before July 31) to learn about their valuable life lessons and words of wisdom.
Participating Youth must attend all 3 sessions & complete (2) Intergenerational Interviews to receive Community Service Credit
NOTE for Non {Putnam} 4-H Members: A 4-H Youth Enrollment Packet and additional information about Enrolling in the Putnam County 4-H Youth Development Program will be emailed to you upon completion of this Online Pre-Registration. Please complete & return prior to the 1st class. (4-H Membership is required to take part in this program).
