About the Program
This 4-H Babysitting Program is designed to help youth ages 11 & up, discover what it takes to be a responsible, caring, trustworthy, competent, capable and safe babysitter. This curriculum was developed in support of Army Child & Youth Services and National 4-H outreach efforts and each lesson follows the 4-H Experiential Learning Model.
By taking this course, youth will:
To successfully complete this program, all participants MUST take part in ALL Zoom and In Person Sessions.
ZOOM IN ~ 7:00-8:00pm (zoom link to be sent via email prior to start date)
Thursdays - 10/27,11/3,11/17,12/1,12/8
~ AND ~
IN-PERSON
Saturday, December 10th, 9:00am - 12:00pm
All Youth Participants will make & take home their own 4-H Babysitting Bag (Bag contents not provided)
This program will be held in a hybrid format with the first 5 sessions on Zoom and the last 3 sessions in- person in Brewster, NY
Youth ages 11 & up, limited to 12 youth
Based on current NYS Health Department COVID Guidelines.
If you are not part of the Putnam 4-H Youth Development Program and do not have a form on file for the 2022-2023 year, please CLICK HERE to complete the 4-H Member Packet at least one week before the starting of the program. Please disregard the payment instructions in the 4-H Member Packet.
