Hosted by the 4-H Youth Development Program: This 5 day program is open to Putnam Youth ~ Ages 9+, limited to 10 participants.

Discover life on a farm. Participants will take part in a variety of hands-on activities on a working farm and learn about Horses, Mini-Horses, Goats, Poultry and a variety of other Barnyard Fowl. This is an in-person program that will take place primarily in an outdoor area setting..

In this hands-on youth development program, participants will learn about:

Horse, Goat & Poultry Breeds
Feeding & Diet of Barnyard Livestock
Health & Care of Farm Animals
Grooming
Farm Life

Please Note: Participants are required to bring a bag lunch each day.

This program may not be suitable for youth with respiratory issues/allergies.
