After a 2-year hiatus due to COVID, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County is excited to partner with Putnam County to host a reimagined fair. The Putnam County Country Festival & 4-H Showcase will feature a variety of new and exciting activities for the whole family including artisan vendors, food trucks, games & inflatables for the kids and even a car show.
Traditional 4-H Fair favorites will also be showcased during the event including animal demonstrations, hands-on 4-H STEM activities, magic & creepy critters, horse & dog shows, Master Gardener demonstrations and exhibits, home-made 4-H milkshakes & lemonade, face painting & more!We hope you will join us for some old-fashioned family fun with a new twist! LIMITED VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE:
This year, due to changes in the structure of the event, Volunteer Opportunities will be LIMITED to Enrolled 4-H TAG Members, 4-H Club Members & Families & Enrolled 4-H Volunteers, as well as CCE Board, and MG Volunteers.
The Volunteer Sign-Up Registration will be sent to members, families & volunteers in an email.
4-H Project Showcase:
This year, ONLY enrolled 4-H Youth Members will be invited to Exhibit a Project of any kind, whether it was made in 4-H, at school or with a homeschool group. Registration will be available during the week of June 13th.
