4-H Basic Sewing Series

  • Wednesday, May 5, 2021, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

In this program hands-on 4-H Program, youth will learn valuable life-skills including:

  • How a sewing machine works & how to use it safely.
  • How to sew a straight seam
  • How to use the tools which help us create such as the scissors, the circular cutting tool, pins and needles and different threads.

Each of the participants will make several projects during the series such as a:

  • a zippered tote bag
  • a pillow case
  • a table topper

Wednesday Evenings (6 Weeks); 6:00-7:30pm

  • June 9                                                                                                                                                Open to Putnam County Youth Only ages 10 & up; First Paid / First Serve. (Non Residents may be considered if the program does not fill up).Social distancing procedures will be followed, masks required
