4-H Families Growing Together at Tilly Foster Farms

This in-person, gardening program will be led by Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Volunteers. This program is designed for families to dig into gardening and grow their own vegetable under the guidance of trained volunteers. Participating families will all receive a garden plot a Tilly Foster Farm through a partnership with Putnam County. Families will take part bi-weekly gardening workshops and will receive a Garden Supply Kit which will include seeds, bulbs and plants. A Parent and/or Guardian must participate with their child(ren), ages 6 & up.

This program begins on Thursday, April 29 at 7:00pm. The first (2) sessions will be held on Zoom. After that, we will begin working in the garden at Tilly Foster on Sunday mornings (with the exception of Saturday, May 8th – first day in the Garden). This program will run through August 15th and will conclude with a Showcase & Harvest Party! Limit 8-12 Putnam Families.
