4-H Public Presentations is a program in which youth learn to create a presentation and develop the skills needed to present it before an audience. They learn about the research process and the steps needed to organize information into an interesting and creative presentation. Every Putnam County 4-H member, ages 5 to 19, is encouraged to give a public presentation as part of their 4-H experience.
New 4-H Members, members with less than 2 years experience regardless of age, must enter with either a Demonstration or Illustrated Talk. Members with 2 or more years of experience may also choose from a Recitation or a Dramatic Interpretation.
Cloverbud Members, depending on age and experience may either do a demonstration or recite the 4-H Pledge with the appropriate hand gestures.
PLEASE NOTE: Time Slots are VERY Limited & are available on a First Registered / First Serve basis – so PLEASE REGISTER EARLY.
REGISTRATION for EACH DATE listed below will CLOSE 1 week prior to allow time for 4-H Staff to ensure we have enough 4-H Evaluators available to accommodate all Youth Presenters who register on a specific date! For Virtual sessions - Zoom link to be provided via email once registered.
