4-H Junior Vet Series

  • Wednesday, October 4, 2017, 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM

The 4-H Junior Vet series is an exciting seven week workshop with an opportunity to shadow local Veterinarians and explore a career in Vet Science. In this hands-on, enrichment program youth will:

  • Learn about a variety of different animals including dogs, cats, alpacas, sheep, pigs and horses.
  • Explore animal nutrition, dentistry, microscope use, bloodwork and animal behaviors.
  • Discover STEM related careers in Veterinary Science and Medicine.

This program is open to any Putnam County youth, ages 9-14 years old. Limited to 14 youth, first come first serve basis. Prior participants not eligible.
