Shiitake Mushroom Growing

Did you know that shiitake mushrooms are delicious, healthful and can be grown on a log in your very own backyard? Educator Jennifer Stengle will discuss the life cycle of the mushroom, its preferred growing media, and guide participants in preparing their own shiitake log. For persons 13 years old and up.
